About The Doctor

Dr. Melanie Zasadny grew up in Cedar Falls and is excited to be back in the area, practicing at the Waterloo office. She left to attend Iowa State University, where she majored in chemistry and Spanish. She then attended the University of Iowa to obtain her DDS, graduating in 2022. Dr. Zasadny was drawn to dentistry because of the creative aspect, the connections between oral health and overall health, and her own positive experiences as a patient while growing up. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband Joseph, practicing Spanish, being outdoors, trying new recipes, crafting, and playing piano.
