About The Doctor

It’s great to have a native in our Cedar Rapids location. Dr. Kegel grew up in Cedar Rapids with two sisters and a brother. Following high school, he studied Biochemistry & French Horn Performance at the University of Iowa. After completing his undergraduate, he continued at the University of Iowa School of Dentistry. Dr. Kegel was drawn to dentistry as he likes the idea of working with his hands to help patients and resolve their problems quickly. In his free time, he has many hobbies, including learning languages, playing the French horn, skiing, basketball, soccer, golf and salsa dancing.
